Aurora (Dawns first light)
This piece came to me in a dream so vivid that I immediately woke up sketching the work on paper. In the dream, the piece unfolded before me. The music, harmony, form and the beauty all around us began taking shape.
It was Dawn's first light.. The sun slowly rose, then quickly as it tends to do. Gentle breezes warmed the cool air. Each instrument calling and answering each other until they come together as one. Everyone feeling and hearing the beauty of the sun's morning' rays.
...I finished the work as the new day began.
