Written in Water
I remember standing at the edge of the water, the horizon stretching endlessly before me. Each wave rolled forward and back like a thought I couldn’t hold — fleeting, shimmering, alive. I wanted to leave something behind — a memory, a trace of you — but the sea whispered it could not be held.
Instead, it carried it away, shaping it, folding it into its own rhythm. This piece is my attempt to capture that feeling: the motion of life as it flows between two people, the gentle push and pull of presence, absence, and return.
In the music, melodies drift across one another like currents, intertwining, separating, and returning again — much like a journey shared with someone you love, where each moment feels both fleeting and eternal. I imagine the listener stepping into this water alongside me — listening to the waves, the swells, the light reflecting off movement, and finding, in that space, the echoes of their own experiences.
Written in Water is about being present, moving together, and feeling the beauty of life in constant motion.
“Step into the currents, and let the music carry you.”
