Red Rhapsody
I kept dreaming of a room where time moved backward and everything felt upside down. The entire space was bathed in shades of red, warm and unreal, and there wasn’t a care in the world.
You and I danced, held each other, and refused to let go. Everyone around us circled as if we weren’t moving at all but suspended in place — waiting. All of our emotions played out through the people moving around us, the room swaying gently like a memory trying to form. What began in lightness slowly shifted into a quiet sadness.
The movement softened, then stopped, and we faced one another fully — each seeing straight into the other’s heart. Then, as if remembering who we once were, our hearts quickened. We laughed, we danced again — in a different time, a different place — somewhere upside down. It was a wonderful night….
Score: Cello / Piano
