​Yellow Winter Orange Sky

As I wrote this, a sad beauty kept my thoughts knowing that all things seemed to change forever. It was during Covid and a quiet dignity in all we do appeared even as the unknown surrounded us. We were afraid and yet strong.

Each day continues, each moment continues, bringing the unknown as we embrace each other. Loneliness and happiness felt in the same breath. Everyone reaching out for each other while others kept us apart. As the work evolves, the notes and colors embrace colliding into each other as we tend to do each day.

Memories of the past and of the future haunting until triumph comes.

​This work doesn't have an ending, it exclaims that it wants to go on... we continue to be... together forever...
